Yoga

Yoga is a 3500-year-old philosophy for the active and conscious relaxation of body, soul and mind. We combine the gentle physical postures (asana), flowing movement sequences (vinyasa) and breath exercises (pranayama) of both traditional and modern approaches to yoga. We palpably dissolve tensions in the body, centering and calming the mind through various breath-relaxation and concentration techniques. The goal of yoga (Sanskrit for 'binding together') is to bring body, soul and mind into harmony and thus to achieve improved health, equilibrium, and mindfulness. My hatha-yoga courses are taught in a way which bridges the various traditions, free from religious dogmas and values, and with a sensitive approach to oneself and others in the foreground. I am a member of the registered association BdfY (professional body of independent yoga teachers) and have the health insurance coverage of ZPP.

I received my training from various teachers and institutes, especially: Remo Rittiner Ayur Yoga in the tradition of Krishnamacharya, Yoga Academy Freiburg, and Osho International Meditation Resort.
